"Lifestyle & Gateway"

Capalaba is the gateway to the Redlands, a beautiful lifestyle to be had. The shopping precinct offers everything you need, the healthcare options are ample, schooling is vast and sporting communities are plenty.
The housing is established and fairly affordable, there is plenty of local industry and it is a really friendly community to be a part of

Looking for a home in Capalaba?

"Capalaba is pretty good"

I live in the next suburb from Capalaba but was originally looking to buy there. Capalaba is still reasonably affordable and you can still buy a lovely family home for 550k. It's a very convenient location with 2 great shopping centres that have everything you need. Every big chain store you can think of is in Capalaba. The traffic near the shops is really shit from 3 - 6 on weekdays. Otherwise, it is a great suburb.

Great for

  • Has every shop you can think of
  • Close to m1
  • Affordable, respectable, nice suburb
  • Bayside islands only minutes away
  • Lots of ammenities close to Cleveland, beach, city
  • Value for money

Not great for

  • Public transport is average
  • Bad traffic

"Great Place to live"

This particular area is less than 30 minutes to the CBD, and two minutes to major shopping centre and amenities.
Howlett road ends at the dam and is not a through fare road, the benefits are peace and quite, with no unsavoury types driving around, very safe.
So if you have a large family or wish to have some land, where the neighbours cannot shake your hand from your window, this is the place for you.
We have lived here for 20 years, it is truly a nice place.
