Hi Piat1, Carina is a great suburb of Brisbane. Approx 8k to the CBD, the suburb has great primary schools such as Mayfield State School and Carina Primary School and the local Public High School is Whites Hill State High. There is also St Martins Private Primary School and San Sisto Secondary all girls high school.
There is a mixture of Professional couples, single professionals and families. Local facilities include Westfield Carindale Shopping Centre, the Clem Jones Sporting centre and pools, local dog parks off Meadowlands Road including parks for the kiddies, some great walking tracks the list goes on :) Having worked in the Carina area for 15 years now I can say that this area has become one of the most sought after areas of Brisbane to live in.
