"Waverley, Carlisle Street- great school & lake at one end of the street, & Waverley supermarket at the other end !!"
This is one of the best streets in Waverley. At the top end of the street is the fantastic Waverley school, and beautiful fishing lake with the stunning mountains in the background. At the bottom end of Carlisle street is the Waverley supermarket and post office agent, plus cafe/fast food service station. All this is on the western side of A3 highway, all within close walking distance. Also, by jumping in a car, you can access all the facilities & shopping of Newstead in 5mins, and only further 5mins to Launceston CBD.

- School at end of the street
- Beautiful sandy-shore lake at the end of the street
- Supermarket / post office agent at the end of the street
Not great for
- No Waverley nightlife / restaurants (only fast food), have to drive 5mins to Newstead
