Even though Castle Rock is a small(ish) town, we have several lovely places. The Augustine Grill on Wilcox is cozy with a menu ranging from pasta dishes to lamb with several homemade soups available. They are even open select Sundays and Mondays for English Afternoon Tea. They are open for lunch from 11-2 Tues-Sat and dinner 5-8 Tues- Sat.

Hi Kristin, Union American Bistro at the south end of Castle Rock on Wilcox is a favorite of many foodies. The owners of Union also own Uniscali, an enjoyable local Italian eatery. Both restaurants are wonderful and I've enjoyed dinners with clients to celebrate the closing of their homes.

Local restaurants in Castle Rock have a wide range. The Union has a really good selection of American style food; Uniscali is owned by the same folks that own the Union and specialize in modern Italian food; The Castle Cafe has a great pan fried chicken that is known Statewide; And Bud's Bar down the road in Sadalia has one of the areas best burgers but keep in mind they do not have fries.

Castle Rock has a lot of great options for dining. The Castle Cafe has a really good pan fried chicken that is known statewide; Bud's Bar in Sadlia has a great burger but no fries; Uniscali specializes in modern Italian but has limited hours, the Union has a lot of really good American style food, and Dream Pastries has some of the best French Pastries I have ever tasted.

There are tons of restaurants in Castle Rock, but many of them are the chain type, so I guess it depends on what you're tastes are. The Old Stone Church Restaurant has been around for years and always gets rave reviews. They have American food and some local fare such as rainbow trout and Colorado lamb, and a good wine list. It's in the old St. Francis of Assissi church building (the new church is up on a hill just northeast of it's former location from years ago).
