Why are so many people selling on Cook Rd?

I am looking to buy around Centennial Park and noticed there seems to be a lot of sales on Cook Rd. Is this not a good street?

Hi Jordan,
I have sold and rented may properties along Cook Road, only about 44% of the properties in Centennial Park are owner occupied and with over 1000 properties on Cook Road the majority being 1 or 2 bedroom apartments the turn over of properties is reflective of the market the properties attract being people in their 20's to late 30's, who may or may not be wanting to start a family or who already have children and are looking for the typical 2 - 3 bedroom house with a backyard.

Cook Road is a fantastic location and don't be put off by the sales in the street, its a highly central position no more than a tree-lined stroll to the celebrated cafes and exclusive shops of Oxford Street and the bustling entertainment venues of Fox Studios, its praised for its ease to the city and our celebrated beaches.

I hope you find this information helpful and please feel free to let me know if you have any more question in the future.

Thanks
Andrew Cary

Re-locating from Perth and looking to get back into the Sydney market. A little spooked with the recent boom. Looking at moving back into the east are the current prices set to drop or hold ?
