"Sunny Cheltenham - Great for family living"

At 18km from the CBD and 28 minutes on the express train, it's an excellent family living - close to the CBD. There is everything to love about this suburb.
We have been living on Cameron St for the last 3 years and I am so glad we made the choice to buy in Cheltenham.

The station has just been upgraded and we are so close to:
1. Public transport: Newly upgraded Cheltenham station, bus stops, Southland station
2. Schools: Cheltenham primary, Beaumaris secondary, Mentone girls
3. Shopping: Westfield Southland, DFO, Costco
4. Amenities: Bunnings, Officeworks, gyms, Woolworth, Coles, Aldi
5. Play centres, Child care centres and Leisure centres/swimming pools
6. Beaches: 5-10 minutes drive to some of the best beaches in Melbourne
7. So many reserves and parks
8. Golf courses
9. Great cafe and restaurants on Charman and Station roads
10. Access to highways

Absolutely zero crime and nuisance in this suburb. The neighbours are super helpful and courteous.

With growing kids, there is no place else I would live!

"Best of all worlds for us"

15 minutes to the city, 10 minutes to the beach, never more than a 10 minute drive to well, almost anything. BUT a beautiful peaceful suburb with most streets quite and well kept. Lovely older homes. Many have been or are being renovated. The train to the city is close by. Community centre is nearby. We have lived here for 10 years with two children, now in their teens. It has suited all facets of our family life. And yes, as Beenie says, it is a little secret gem.

"Shhh, its our little secret!"

We stumbled across Cheltenham 5 years ago when we bought our home. It is a wonderful suburb, so quite and peaceful, so many gorgeous homes to admire on walks. We like to call it "our secret suburb" as not many people seem to know about it or only think of the cemetary or racecourse development but it is so much more. It is especially nice near Alberton Oval and around the train line.

"I'm glad I discovered Cheltenham!"

I feel pretty lucky we found this place in Cheltenham a year ago. Our street is great, so quiet, and we have gotten to know all of our neighbours well, even the rear ones. If you are renovating it's great as Bunnings is very close and there are loads of hire places in the area. You can go to local footy or AFL easily.
There are so many nice old houses that are being renovated, and the streets are looking more and more beautiful all the time, I think Cheltenham is a bit of a sleeper, a best kept secret perhaps.
