Is Dwyer Street safe?
Chippendale, NSW 2008 is located within the Sydney local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.
Thinking of moving here - but got a bit of an eerie vibe from the whole idea of living in an alley way behind a pub.
Does anyone know how well lit the street is at night? Are there any dodgies doing the rounds on the street at night??

Redfern and Waterloo still have occasional problems at night, around the govt housing blocks, but not Chippendale in my experience. Call the local police station and get their feedback, they are always happy to help people moving into the area.
