Reviews of Coniston, NSW
"Quiet Leafy Suburb Close to Town"
Only a couple of minutes and you're in the heart of Wollongong, and walking distance to Westfeild and a well equipped corner shop.
Close proximity to town makes eating out at night simple - cheap taxi fare home if you feel like a drink!
Also pretty close to both Wollongong and Coniston train stations, and buses routinely leave from Westfeild figtree.
Quiet, leafy suburb, with views over Mount Keira. Friendly neighbours and very safe - you can go for a solo walk around the neighbourhood after dark without a worry.
Close to freeway on-ramp as well, making commuting easy.
Nights are quiet, and plenty of beautiful wildlife - possums, lorikeets, etc.
Only drawback is close proximity to steel works, but it's out of sight from most of the area. Also The Avenue experiences a bit of traffic around peak hours, but the speed limit is low and it's all over and peacefully quiet again come night time.
