Although these figures are from 2009, you can get an idea of the comparison for a median priced house or condo:
Crested Butte: $625,939
Breckenridge: $687,599
Aspen: $873,592

Crested Butte is not far behind busy little Breck...I would rather live in Crested Butte even though it is so far from the Front Range
