Whats Dakabin new development areas like?
Hiya, Looking to move into the area. Use to drive past on the highway & the smell from the Dakabin Waste Tranfer Station (tip) used to be significant in summer, so just wondering if it is an issue in the new housing areas of Dakabin close to the tip? Also the Lakeside International Raceway to the northwest, does that generate much noise down towards Dakabin? I've read some great reviews of the area & no-one has mentioned these. Cheers.

I live in the new area for 4 years, never smelled anything from the tip and nobody ever complained about it. For the racing sometimes you hear them on a saterday or sunday morning, if the wind is in your direction and you are outside. Never really bothered my family. Overall its a nice, quite and green area with amazing access to highway, express train to Bris and minutes away from North lakes shops and CBD.
