primary and high school, after school activities

Would like to know if there is enough activities for a 11 yo girl who loves to dance and swim.
Which area I should concentrate on in terms of buying a house, my hubby doesn't mind to travel to work, let say 30/45 min.
And the temperature, how really hot/cold is there
I will take all your advises coz I am bit "scared"of moving.
