Doreen, VIC 3754 is located within the Whittlesea local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Hi heard that a train station is coming to Doreen. Can someone please provide an evidence that this is really happening ?

@PappaBear I suspect this Mernda Rail extension project is what you have heard about. I found this article released earlier this month discussing the details of the project. It first station in the project will be in Mernda.

The train station is located close to Plenty River which is the boundary of Mernda and Doreen. It services both areas and will be part of the new town centre when it is built.it will be a super station.
