I too am interested in Dorrigo. Are there markets there. Is there accommodation that allows dogs? What is the night life like. Are there open gardens to visit & volunteer working on.

There are Monthly Markets & Made in Dorrigo Day held 3 times annually. Night life is limited. No open gardens as far as I know, but 30 mins away Bellingen has them.

It's a great place to live! There are some beautiful landscapes and nature to be seen to get away from city life and if you cannot find work in Dorrigo itself, Coffs Harbour isn't too far of a drive (less than an hour). If ever you need a place to stay in Dorrigo, definitely check out lookoutmountainretreat.com.au
