I agree! Downtown Dazzle and Ice Skating on the square will put you in a holiday spirit. There also are many fine eateries and departments stores that will also add to your downtown experience.

For the past few years Macy's has sponsored Downtown Dazzle every Saturday night. It's a cool family event on Fountain Square. Santa rappels down an office building next to Macy's Department Store with a reindeer and an elf. Afterwords they have fireworks.
They light the giant Christmas tree one evening as well.
