Reviews of Draper, QLD

"Sanctuary on Brisbane's doorstep"

Beautiful and quiet suburb right on the doorstep to the city. Plenty of land for the horses, for kids to explore or for privacy from the neighbours. Cedar Creek runs through the suburb and has good walking trail alongside. Close to Samford Village for all your needs and just a short drive into Brisbane or closer locations such as Albany Creek / Strathpine / Brendale for shopping. Great for the young and old alike!

"Bushland / Acreage just 26km to the CBD"

Draper lies just 26km from the Brisbane CBD and only 4km to the beautiful Samford Village. The Sunshine Coast is easily accessible to the an hour to the north and Gold Coast 1.5 hours to the south. There is also the beautiful Daigular National Park and Cedar Creek just a short drive away.

This is a suburb for those who love quiet acreage living, in rolling hills with both bush and open grassy properties. Koalas frequent the trees, lorikeets and an abundance of native birds provide a beautiful alarm call each morning with the South Pine River and Cedar Creek weaving through the suburb.

Samford Village nearby has a fantastic government primary school with a Steiner School also providing education through to Year 12. The village has all the services you could need, grocery store, butcher, doctors, dentists, an abundance of good cafes and restaurants and provides a multitude of community events throughout the year.

Draper provides an opportunity to secure a large acreage lifestyle right on the city's doorstep, an opportunity that no longer exists in Sydney or Melbourne and without the traffic snarls that plague the likes of Brookfield, Pullenvale and Anstead.
