What is the noise like living backed on to light rail tracks on Constitution Road, Dulwich Hill?

I am looking to rent a place that is perfect except it backs on to the light rail network and there appears to be a stop right there also. Any advice?? Thanks!!

You get used to it pretty quickly! It's better than living on the main road in my opinion. You always get some kind of noise if you're living in central-ish sydney. Trains, plains, trams, cars, noisy neighbours etc. That's the price for convenience and being at work in 20min...

Constitution Rd backs onto the light rail line not the main rail line. Therefore the train noise in my opinion will be minimal compared to the normal rail line. This rail line will however carry goods trains so occasional long goods trains will use this line.
