Hi Redndotty,
I have always used Aj's Costume & Part Hire - http://www.ajscostumehire.com.au/
which is located at 49 Jubilee St in Beckenham - very close to East Cannington.
I have always got my party costumes etc from there - they have an unbelievable range - better than character creations on Albany Highway.
If you are looking for other suppliers, there is also Lombard's Party Supplies - 1490 Albany Hwy
