Is Calumet Street in East Falls a safe place to live?

Calumet Street is relatively safe. The tree-lined street is home to many longtime neighbors whom share in a common goal of keeping the area safe. Most errands can be done with ease and are in walking distance. East Falls, in general, is a safe neighborhood to live.

The general rules of safety apply. Walk in pairs or with a group at night. Keep windows and doors of your home locked, especially upon exiting. Make sure your car doors are locked and there are no visible valuables within. Be wary of strangers especially those who make you feel an uncanny sense of discomfort. If you adhere to these, all should be fine.
