"Let your problems wash away at East Mackay!"

East Mackay is perfect for the retiree, young couple or young family with its proximity to the beach, local schools, sporting clubs and shops. Walk to Quota Park to enjoy weekend BBQ’s and large family gatherings. Admire the beauty of the blue soldier crabs and watch all your worries wash away on the relaxing Far Beach.

"Fantastic suburb to bring up a family!"

I have lived here for 10 years and so is an excellent suburb to bring up a family! The streets are very quiet and most houses only have a 1min walk to the beautiful serene beach. The very safe Town beach park has electric BBQ's and new large playground and bike path. The new Bluewater Trail takes you from Canelands along river to beach front, great for bike rides or walking the dog. Also you only have a 5 min drive to city shops, great restaurants, cinemas and night clubs.
The beach front is used by Kite surfers at high tide and is very exciting to watch while you eat fish and chips!
