Reviews of Echunga, SA
"Popular country town 10 minutes from Handorf"
Tightly held area (real estate wise) in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Known as a popular equestrian area with many horse properties and hobby farms. Echunga is a picturesque area with only a small township servicing a rural area.
Great for

- Village but close to all the desired facilities.

"Lovely Adelaide Hills Town"
Echunga is close to everything but when you wake up in the morning you feel your really in the countryside hearing nothing but the cows. Everyone is friendly and there is a great school, bakery, pub, post office and general store so everything you need but only a short drive to Hahndorf, Mount Barker, Stirling and Strathalbyn. We love living here.

"A great country town, close to the city."
We have been living in Echunga for nearly 3 years. It's a fabulous little country town, but close to everywhere. 5 mins from Hahndorf, 8 mins to shopping in Mt Barker, 30 mins from town.
It has a local store, bakery, great pub, post office, hairdresser, farrier, car workshop, RSL, community hall, and a couple of churches, a sweet little primary school a golf club and lots of public spaces, as in parks, and ovals.
It is surrounded by lush green fields, filled with black and white cows, and well cared for sleek horses.

"Awesome town in the Adelaide Hills"
A heap of mates and i went here in the late 90's to a B&S Ball. Was one of the best times I have ever had. Stopped off at the local pub for a beer too, and the locals are really friendly. I'd be happy to live here.
