Having a young family ourselves I cannot rave enough about our little suburb. Huge array of parks for kids (Spider Park on William Pde is why we bought here!) but also have AFL, 2 soccer clubs and Souths Cricket club all together in one amazing sporting precinct. Council have 2 fantastic dog parks that I know of. Very well serviced by buses and train station is 4 stops from Central!!!! Bike paths abound and being one of those gits who wear lycra and ride around at 5.30am we are on the "river loop" which is a great ride. Close to the best hospitals (Mater, Mater Private, PA Hospital as well as Greenslopes Private). Schools abound (St Sebastians, St Itas, Lawries, Somerville, Yeronga States, Mary Immaculate) all within close proximity. Probably the best kindergarten in Australia at Yeronga Hyde Road (very bias as you can tell but our kids go there and love it!). Library is fantastic and the local councillor is very involved in the community. Enough already?

There is a council Library at Fairfield Gardens, not sure exactly what services you were after?
