My family has owned land in Fairplay for a long time, although I haven't been there in some years. From what I remember though, there is more livestock than crops. As a matter of fact, I don't remember any crops, although my memory may be faulty...

I think you're right there is mostly livestock---and no crops that I have seen, maybe in the valley there are hay fields?
