"Middle of nowhere"

I lived here for a year because it's the only place we could get a rental. I have never been so isolated in my whole life. No cafes, no nice parks, and nothing to offer. If you want to go for a family outing it will be at least an hour drive. If you're thinking about renting here and working in Brisbane, just don't. Its about an hour and 10 with tolls. We had never paid more in tolls and the rent was not cheap in Flagstone either because it's "an up-and-coming city". The Real estate wanted rent increases as often as they could get them and the quality of living here is bad. Not to mention, its sooo far out and with a country town near by (Jimboomba) you think "oh at least we might have a yard." well you're wrong. We ended up driving into Jimboomba for everything anyway (childcare and groceries, etc). Expect to be cramped up in "investment properties" for minimum housing requirements. So not only are you an hour from the city (with tolls) your rent is jacked up, you have zero space, no social life and nothing nearby for at least an hour. Expect to pay through your teeth for water, rent, fuel, and tolls, and to be very lonely and cramped because the land size will be about 230 square meters max for "country living". We had to put security cameras everywhere because our cars kept getting vandalised. Don't expect the real estate agents in Flagstone to treat you like human beings. If you are thinking of renting here, better options would be Jimboomba or Springfield or Browns Plains. Im not sure why it says the crime is not bad in Flagstone, because we had police cars driving through our street at least once a week, and there was a need for it.

Wow. Thanks for leaving this comment here. I am interviewing for a job in Brisbane (Toowong I think), hybrid (2 days home/3 days office). Was looking at 'affordable ' areas and zoomed into Flagstone, but now I know what to expect.

"Future City - Fastest growing area"

Flagstone is one of the newest and fastest growing communities in South East Qld.
Flagstone is a great option for those looking for budget friendly homes or first home buyers.
Brilliant facilities & parklands for the kids too!
I like what Flagstone has to offer and I'm excited to see the progress. I highly recommend looking into what this community has to offer.

"Town full of heart 💙"

I've lived in flagstone for over a year now , and it's like no other place I've lived before. Surrounded by beautiful bushland and gorgeous community spirit, your in the perfect position away from the hustle and bustle, but so close to Brisbane and the Goldie with tambourine mountain right on you door step, flagstone is a great place to raise a family , the kids are always playing outdoors with friends and making their own adventures.

"FLAGSTONE IS A COMMUNITY"

Flagstone is a community. There’s honestly nothing like living in a thriving and growing community like this. Until you’ve experienced it, it’s very hard to describe. Full of families, young and old, Flagstone is benefitting from all the local growth including parks, shops, businesses, schools and infrastructure. With the master-planned Flagstone estate centred in the community, there is no doubt that this area will thrive in the coming years.

A location where you find new homes on smaller blocks but also you will find homes on acreage if this is your preference.
