Good Government School within 12 km from Victoria University, Footscray?
Footscray, VIC 3011 is located within the Maribyrnong local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
I am an International student studying at Victoria University, Footscray campus. I am looking for the good Primary (Grade 2) and Junior Secondary (Grade 6) Government schools for my children within the range of 12 kms from Victoria University, Footscray campus . Once the school is finalized, I shall also look for accommodation in the nearby area of school.
Since I am new to the city, I will greatly appreciate if somebody guide me in this regard of searching school.

They're all good. In my experience I have heard a complaint about every public and private school in Melbourne. Also home schooling. Judgement calls are probably a waste of time. I support public schools for a balanced society.
My daughter has been to both a local primary and high school both great because of the staffing standards.
