Parking is a problem in Fort Mason, San Francisco if you are looking for free parking. I know there is a private lot of some kind over by the Marina but I can't remember if that is pay lot or not. I think it must be because that is where Green's--the restuarant is and the museum. So you probably pay at the gatehouse and then get in.
