"Once affluent now deteriorated and unsafe"

Recent new houses filled with empty and quick sale of the property indicate the lack of security in this area. Once the influx of new immigrants came the value of community has sunk abysmally & tree cover gone instead big multi-storey concrete monstrosities & lower than ideal type of characters moved in. Have been noticing huge police presence & house fires. Sadly welfare recipients & local youth are scurg have no respect for older citizens. My husband passed two years now & it’s turned scary & I can see why the other older folks moved to greener pastures than this suburb. We don’t have the same type of neighbours we once had. Seen this happen so fast that I’d be thinking if my girls were still small that I’d be moving to a better area like further up towards Beaumont or even Tusmore or St Peter’s where the kids could play safely in the park or a yard. The way these new dwellings have come in has ruined our lives. Can’t see how it’s possible to get to the beach or the country fresh air with the horrible traffic & constant noise & smell of exhaust now. The Arkaba has a huge noisy issue with late night drunken revelry and open shop where they have alcohol fuelled degenerates between their pokies room & welfare office in the Woolworths now. It’s just turning into a extension of the hurt street area near that shelter honestly. My walking in the morning rather early has become so scary I can not risk being knocked over again by a young reckless hoon like recently happened to my friend. Not a few nights ago I watched the local indigenous people attack a girl for no reason & the commotion! I’d think it’s just too much for us to expect to have any chance at being able to live quietly. Too much of this developing area has been taken over by criminal activity. Don’t risk it stay safe in the areas instead of taking the chance. Very much think best off in somewhere more green such as Tusmore or Burnside towards the upper hill side over portrush road such as Dulwich or even Beumont for good reason & more established families with nice yards & less chance of being on the news for these horrid events we saw on news like the poor puppy stolen from my dear neighbour! What a shame that we have to tolerate these sort of things now.

"Leafy character and convenience"

Great understated suburb with a wonderful mix of leafy character bluestone villas, californian bungalows and modern builds. Top education options with zoning for Unley and Glenunga International HS.
Perfectly positioned between foodie Frewville; Burnside village & Unley & KWR boutiques. Leisurely walk or ride to Duthy St, Unley Rd & Hutt St. Direct access to Stirling down Glen Osmond or City and Norwood via Fullarton road and 20 mins to beach.
A hidden gem that you won't want to leave!

"So close to the city!"

- Walk to public transport and only 4km to the CBD.
- Local shopping and essentials can be found at so many centres at nearby Frewville, Arkaba, Unley and Mitcham shopping centres as well as smaller villages at Highgate, Malvern and along Duthy Street
- Cosmopolitan shopping and multicultural eating options along Unley, King William and Glen Osmond Roads, Norwood Parade and discover 'where fashion lives' at the exclusive Burnside Village
- City centre only 4 kilometres or around 7 minutes drive ... but why drive, you could walk to Hutt Street in 30 minutes
- Bus it into the City with a stop at the end of the street
- A short drive to Concordia College, Unley High; zoned for Unley Primary School and Glenunga International High School

"Fullarton- The Friendly Suburb"

Fullarton is a large suburb location on the eastern side of Adelaide approximately 10 Mins from the CBD. Wattle Street is one of my favourite streets, large properties both old and modern.

"What's not to like?"

Fullarton..leafy, quiet and friendly..a stone's throw from great shopping, restaurants, medical centre, hotel and schools. 5 minutes to the CBD, Unley Shopping Centre with the Arkaba as its landmark.
Schools? Glen Osmond, Linden Park & Parkside Primary Schools all handy. Seymour College and Glenunga International High School with in 5 minutes. Lots of nice families, parks and friendly faces.
Fullarton fills the bill on all accounts.

"One of my favourite areas"

Fullarton is one of the best suburbs in Adelaide. It is close to the city, close to the shops, close to Unley and Parkside and it has the benefit of some beautiful streets.
Public transport services the area really well although the buses can get very full as they run down Glen Osmond road. But why catch the bus when you could walk for 20 minutes and be right in the middle of the city?
Around the corner are some great restaurants including some of the best Indian Adelaide has to offer.
The city is close so getting out at night is easy but there are a few good pubs around the corner if you want something closer.
There is a great blend of houses from units and townhouses up to larger houses on good sized blocks that are the envy of Adelaide. It is ideal for everyone.

"A good spot near the city for families and couples"

Fullarton is a large residential suburb, with a number of large homes (many recently renovated), quite a few modern townhouses and courtyard homes, and some brand new apartment blocks offering sweeping views of the southern parklands and the CBD.

The suburb offers a range of services including a large supermarket, post office and a couple of coffee bars. However your best bet for shopping in the nearby Burnside Village, just ten minutes away, which a huge complex offering everything you need - a large Coles supermarket, a number of gourmet food shops, pharmacies, a huge range of clothing, shoe and jewellery shops, hair and beauty salons, post office, banks and a number of cafes and coffee bars.

The location is very convenient to the city. Just follow Glen Osmond Road and you will be in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD within minutes, although take note that traffic on this road can come close to a standstill during peak hour. Public transport is easy and convenient, with frequent buses during the day.

Fullarton has a couple of good pubs and restaurants tucked away in the quiet streets, such as the Earl of Leicester (for a delicious pub meal) or Namaté (for Nepalese dining). Otherwise there are lots of good options in the neighbouring suburbs, such as the café strip of Unley Road or the many restaurants and bars on Hutt Street on the edge of the CBD.
