"Coolangatta's Best Street"
Garrick Street is without a doubt 'Coolangatta's Best Street'!!! Lovely & peaceful. Leafy too which makes for amazing birdlife (rainbow lorikeets, yellow crested cockatoos, blue faced honey eaters, cookaburras & more). 5 minutes walk to town & the awesome beaches of Kirra, Coolie, Greenmount. Like WOW you know?! The hills make for interesting & nice elevated outlooks over the little Coolangatta valley, town & beach, tweed coast, out to the Currumbin Valley & some even get whopping views over the ocean to the north up to Burleigh & Surfers. If you love the beach, cafe life, walking for fitness or stepping out downtown then Garrick Street is for you.
