Being classed as local
Im wondering if you said to locals, that your from a neighbouring area or a close enough area if they would consider people as locals? But I suppose the Real Estate Agents would be spreading the news? What about raising the issue? (Community groups/Council?) Original locals need to realise, new people bring in new possibilities and knowledge. Not necessarily to change things. I understand employment issues wanting to hand jobs to people they know and keep the original locals so they stay.

Most people who move to the area, move for the lifestyle and genuinely like country areas as they are. I don’t feel they would want to change or cause any outcomes against the area. That’s why they moved in the first place. If locals are so against newbies, I’d like to know why.
