Buying in Glenroy

Hello all!! Me and my wife are looking to buy a townhouse in Glenroy, ideally nearer to the AnA stretch of Glenroy (western side). Have read a couple posts around Glenroy not being safe near the train station on other reddit posts, but they were a bit older, so looking for some new/latest opinions. My wife has to go to work everyday and usually uses the train, so we are trying to sus out if it's a safe walk in and out of the station, and also general liveabilty. We aren't too huge on nightlife and did like the western side of Glenroy in terms of liveabilty when we drove around. We were also wondering how a young family life (kid + dogs) is in the neighbourhood (childcare, primary schools, parks, etc)
