Within the area there are two public elementary schools, Edwin Stanton Elementary and Chester A. Arthur Elementary. My daughter attends Philadelphia's most acclaimed public high schools, Philadelphia High School of the Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA). The school is on the border of the Graduate Hospital neighborhood and is not as simple to get in as other public high schools. There are several interviews and auditions before a student is considered fr CAPA, but it well worth the hoops that have to be jumped. The teachers/curriculum are wonderful.
