Reviews of Grant Street, Clifton Hill
"Everything at your doorstep!"
One street away from the train station, express trains every morning. Set behind old warehouses, which block the noise of the train line. One street away from the Royal Hotel which is one of the best laid back, quiet, food serving, northern pubs within 3km of the city! Eastern freeway access, east link, Punt road, Trains, Bus and Tram from Queens parade. Plenty of stores such as fruit and vegetables, hairdressers, take away foods, restaurants, clothing, bakers delight, hardware supplies, toy stores, dentist, doctors, physio, osteopath, and plenty more. Clifton Hill and Grant st have immediate access to Darling gardens, and it's only a short stroll to Quarries park and Fairfield Parklands.
The freshly renovated Collingwood recreation center is a two minute walk from Grant St. As well as tennis courts, childrens playgrounds and a swimming pool. Fairfield Golf course, Kew Boathouse, Westgarth Cinemas, Brunswick St are all nearby. Close proximity to Epworth and St Vincents & Mercy hospitals, ambulance are very quick for any emergency (I know from experience). The Suburb really has it all.

"Great place to live for couples and young families"
I love this Street, its wide with lovely Terraces and townhouses. The Train station is so close but yet far enough that you don't hear the trains. There is also a milk bar and a cute little cafe for weekend breakfasts and a walking trail/ bike trek within 5-10 walking distance.
