How much plane noise over central Guildford?

Hi there! I'm looking to rent a property in central Guildford (right next to the James Street area) and when I went to view the property I did notice a number of planes flying over. I visit Guildford frequently and have never really noticed planes before, and I'm usually not bothered by traffic and train noise in general. I have since visited the street again between 4:30-5pm (same time as the first visit) and noticed a plane every 2-3 minutes. Is this a particularly busy time of day, or is are they that frequent constantly? I could deal with a few an hour but maybe not every couple of minutes! Is it something you just get used to? And is it dependant on how low the planes fly/wind direction etc? Experiences of those living in Guildford would be greatly appreciated!
