Best suburbs to live in Hervey Bay

I am thinking of relocating to Hervey Bay with my two children. Aged 10 and 3. last visited Hervey Bay in 2012, spending some time there , i got the feeling of the Bay being a very family friendly atmosphere. I fell in love with place. I would love to hear from locals regarding the best suburbs to live and reviews on schools. Sporting for kids etc . I have read articles on Hervey Bay having very low employment, high crime etc would love feed back on that as well if anyone has any.
