Like public schools everywhere it's all aligned with socioeconomics - you get the "quality" of school that aligns with where you live. Homebush Public (catchment covers the older part of the suburb) is a very good school. Nearby schools to the northeast, east and south are all excellent, and Homebush West to the west is also quite good. Victoria Avenue is a new school and covers the northern end of the suburb which has a lot of high density apartment housing, so as you would expect based on socioeconomics is not as good.
