NRAS Incentive – How you receive it • NRAS Year runs from 01st May - 30th April • The incentive is paid retrospectively • First year is pro rata depending on what date the property entered the NRAS Scheme • Two components of the Incentive o Fully Refundable Tax Off Set Certificate issued by the Federal Government (2021-2022 full year value $8,343.05) o Yearly Cash Payment issued by the State Government (2021-2022 full year value $2,781.02 Processing • After 30th April NAHC submits all the required Compliance NRAS information that is required by both the Federal and State Government on your behalf • The Federal Government correlates all the NRAS Compliance for the entire program to generate the applicable apportionments for each individual incentive • The Federal Report with the individual breakdown is forwarded to NAHC for the issuing of the Fully Refundable Tax Offset Certificate • NAHC will email the Certificates as soon as possible after receiving the information from the federal government • One certificate per property, it is up to the owners to apportion the amounts. • This Certificate should be given to your tax accountant for inclusion with your tax return for the relevant year ie June 2022 tax year • NAHC processes the payments on the state government behalf. • This cash payment will be disbursed into your nominated rental account. • An email will be sent to you advising when this has been done.
