A Platypus power installed Hydro Electric unit is installed at the creek which provides power 24/7 to charge the 12 volt battery bank. A solar system set up on the roof of the homes contributes with additional charge.
2 well built tracks access the hydro and creek from the home, these are well built permanent rock paved pathways allowing easy access back and forth.
THE WATER - Water is straight from the creek, no tanks here, just a permanent supply of pressured water straight from nature. Inline filtration is installed. A pressure pump is set up and can be turned on if you want added pressure. The water is so pure and as a Daintree resident for over 20 years I have drank Daintree creek water the whole time without incident.

THE POWER - A 12 volt battery bank is installed with both solar and Hydro electric charging sources. A near new Victron inverter (used by the Australian Navy) and brand new regulators for both the solar and hydro.
