I have lived here for 10 years with my kids they went to daintrree primary school my kids love fishing going out on the water . Going to all the islands and snorkling. All ways somthing to do.

The Daintree is the area Known as the Daintree Rainforest and is a heritage listed area. The Daintree Rainforest starts at the Daintree River and reaches to Cooktown in the north, extending west as far as the Great Dividing Range. There is plenty to see and do such as explore the many walks and see native flora and fauna, experience the pristine beaches, go horse riding, enjoy many water sports or take a guided tour. Accommodation choices include luxury resorts as well as Eco Lodges with both offering great amenities. Property can be purchased in nearby Port Douglas but be prepared to pay top price for the benefit of living in this natural wonderland.
