Hornsby water treatment plant odors?

Hornsby Heights, NSW 2077 is located within the Hornsby local government area, part of the Sydney (Greater) Region in New South Wales.

Hi all, I'm planning to buy a property that is located 1.2 km south of Hornsby Heights water treatment plant. I'm concerned about odors and more in general air, water and soil quality. Has anybody living close by the plant have some experience to share?

Yes constant smell of sewer even though the treatment plant is supposed to be door free. Water board will do nothing even after we have called them hundreds of times. Four neighbours in a row with cancer. Not sure if the smell could have something to do with it. Sorry
