Reviews of Imbil, QLD

"Sadly disappointed so far"

We finally escaped the insanity of Brisbane after 10 years of misery there thinking we were coming out to a small town tight knit community but yet again we still don't fit in. Everyone seems to be pretty much to themselves, and I really don't like how the butcher puts a sign up about not offering credit. We are a family of 8,with all boys, and have never had a problem buying our 100 dollars a week of meat in credit, and we rarely need longer than 24-48 hours to pay. Regardless of the circumstances, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and really takes away from that small town feel I really thought still existed. It's also really hard being so far from basically anything. No vet, no dog wash, no dedicated petrol station, high prices at the local grocery shop. I really hope I feel differently soon but it's not the greatest start :(

"Great Country Community"

Kandanga Creek is a close knit community set in a beautiful picturesque place, with views of dairy country and rolling hills. It is nothing short of spectacular. Being very close to Kandanga , Amamoor and Imbil locals have options to be part of the small communities or retreat and enjoy the privacy and peacefulness. Kandanga and Imbil have dining options with a bus that will even pick you up and drop you home!! That's country service!!

Being surrounded by state forest and being close to Borumba Dam allows residents to enjoy as much or little fitness activities as they desire.

Kandanga Creek is a perfect Haven away from the rat race but still close enough to indulge in shopping/dining at Noosa ( 40 min) Gympie (20 min ) or the big smoke Brisbane ( 1hr 30 min).
