Reviews of Jenkins Street, Rosewater
"Jenkins St, not too bad overall"
Has only a few original homes ( 1884 ) left in the street, so it is a bit of a mishmash of styles. Street is tree lined down the middle which confuses some people as they think it is a one way street. The street is busy down the west side, due to the fact the BP service station on the corner, so you do get a few idiots who like to drive a bit fast down the road ...;-(
Average stats for breakin / crime, not that we ever personally experienced any in our 10 years here... but saw & heard about it going on around us... An easy walk through the back streets for those that work or want to shop in the Port. Public Transport isn't too bad 45 mins to Adel CBD by bus from out on Grand Junction Rd. 6k's to Arndale Shopping Centre
House prices are very good .. & are always on the rise in Rosewater.
Still waiting for the Port to come alive again though ..
