What is the medical centre and hospital like in Karratha?

My partner and I are considering moving to Karratha. We have a newborn baby and I am concerned the hospital or medical centre won't be as equipped or knowledgable in the case of an emergency compared to where we live now on the coast of NSW. Can anyone shed some light on what they are like?

As a mother of 2 children who were very young when we moved here, I have had the odd trip to the hospital and have always found them of great calibre. In regard to the medical centre we have a couple of medical centres and it is just a case of finding a doctor that will suit your needs. We also have Population Health that handles the immunisation schemes and currently has the Breastscreen bus on site.
