Yes, I'd say so. I am not an expert but there seems to be a good variety of birds there and that is just the water birds. I'm sure there are heaps of smaller ones flitting about that I barely notice. The ibis have nesting grounds there and the trees stink when they are in full swing and you can see the babies on the nests - take binoculars.
