"Its a nice quiet little town, 45 mins to major shopping centres."
It's a typical Aussie country town, the people are lovely and welcoming, there are lots of young families around. There's a great park overlooking water, an outdoor pool, enough facilities to get you through, a big IGA, newsagent, couple of bakeries, one takeaway. The biggest downside is the lake of eating places, there are two pubs but no restaurants outside of that. The shops at Morayfield are only 45 mins away or an hour to North Lakes. It's about an hour to the Sunshine Coast and all the beautiful beaches there. It's only a 5 minute drive to Somerset Dam for those boating or fishing enthusiasts.
Houses are struggling to sell, it's a buyers market at the moment but rentals seem to get snapped up fairly well.
