All three of my girls have gone through KHPS recently - it's a very parent/community involved school, as many people are attracted to the French programme and all the social aspects around that. There are annual French markets, other community and fundraising events and good parent involvement with those. It's next door to the community shops, where there are lots of afterschool activities, dance, music, tutoring, karate, swimming, etc. So, it's a real hub of activity and there are normally hundreds of kids and parents gathering straight after school, so you can always catch up with what's going on. The kids seem to like their teachers and the administration is professional, the P&C is active, and my kids seem happy! I sell a lot of properties to people who come here just to get their kids into the school - as a planned community from the 1960's it was designed so that you could get all the above benefits without leaving the suburb (including a High School as well) and it still works 50+ years later...
