Reviews of Kilsyth, VIC
"A Good Place"
I think Kilsyth is a nice place but over the years it has become very popular with the ammount of people now living out here.
The place was quite back in the 1990's but has increased with every year now if you want less people around you will have to move further away thats the same as everywhere though.
Kilsyth has been my place to live less happens out this way and i would not know what suburb to choose next if i had to pick one.
You still need to pick you house carefully if you move in you dont want to live next to a pack of animals which do still exist around Kilsyth so do your research and enjoy the fresh air until it gets over populated.
Thanks !!!!! And have fun

"Kilsyth is officially voted the happiest suburb in Australia in 2009"
Kilsyth was voted the happiest suburb in the whole of Australia in 2009. (source Herald Sun - May 10, 2009). Almost 50,000 Australians have taken The Test, an exhaustive questionnaire that gauges an individual's health and happiness.
Kilsyth is a lovely friendly place and has a local swimming pool, playgrounds and 3 supermarkets to do your shopping. ALDI has just been opened in Kilsyth. We love living in Kilsyth.

Pick a house in the Maroondah Shire and for the little you may save in rates you will indeed spend on the purchase price of a house. The market is crazy in Maroondah since Eastland expanded - you get a lot more for your money in Kilsyth
The rates in Kilsyth though, thanks to Yarra Ranges Council are horrendous!!! Pick a house in Maroondah Shire, about 2 k's closer to the city and cheaper than Kilsyth with all the same faciliies and livability
