This could be one of the most direct routes to the CBD from the Gateway motorway. There has been talk of widening the road past Brett Wharf, but it also needs widening along the rivers edge to accomodate the future 10,000 people envisaged for the old harbour side district. If this is not done there is no point in widening a section only to hit the river as a bottleneck. Pylons into the river and increase the width the entire length of Kingsford Smith.

Kingsford Smith Drive is a major road connecting the Air Port and the City. There are so many things to love about this busy road if you live on it like I do. It is easy to get to the city and the airport, Racecourse Road is close by for shopping and dining out, a hop skip and jump to portside wharf for great bars and cinema and the river.
Living on a busy road is fantastic as you get so see all the comings and goings of the vibrant suburb of Hamilton and the city of Brisbane, you can make noise and no one complains as the traffics going by, close the windows and you can admire the view with always something going on to look at. People under estimate a busy road, lower entry price to live in a fantastic suburb with all the infrastructure and features of properties double or triple the price. Love Hamilton.
