Yes it is safe. Just like any area there are drug users. Ive lived in this area for 22 years since i was a kid. I am now 37 and i can tell you honestly the number of "druggies" have dramatically decreased. They have either passed away or moved out of the area. Currently Lalor Park presents a unique opportunity for people to do knock down and rebuilds. There are houses being knocked down every month and being rebuilt. This is an untapped area where you can get huge blocks at bargain prices. Im happy to have purchased a house on Charlton Road but previously iwas living on Kennedy Parade. Dont think too much, if you see a good price for a huge block, cease the opportunity. You wont regret it!
