In a medical emergency how would you get transported to hospital ?

I've unfortunately been in the back of an ambulance a few times lately. Thinking of moving to Lamb island but if emergency medical is a problem tehn it's off the list.

There is a paramedic, either on Lamb or on the other islands, who will come to your home in a short time, probably a shorter response than the mainland as you are likely to be the only case or one of only a few at the one time. They may decide to take you to hospital and you can get transported by the Ambulance Ferry from any of the 4 island terminals/jetties, across to Redland Bay and then transported by ambulance. There are Doctors surgeries on Macleay and Russell only, but easily to visit them. In case of severe emergency, a helicopter will set down to take you to hospital, there is a landing pad on all 4 islands.
