"Latham is like, so underrated"

Huge plots of land, leafy streets, a colossal district park within walking distance of most of the suburb, 5 mins drive to the shops and amenities, 5 minutes drive to the parkway, in demand preschool and schools. It's seriously underrated

Looking for a home in Latham?

"Belconnen's little secret"

I'm honestly amazed about how under the radar Latham is. I'm not just talking about young people who want a nightlife, eateries and excitement, I even mean young families and couples trying to buy their first home. In many people's minds, Latham is out in woop woop when in fact, it's only a 10 mins drive to Belconnen town centre and 5 minutes from Kippax and Parkes Way (starting at Kingsford-Smith Drive), so about 15-20 mins to Civic during non peak-hour. It has heaps of childcare options nearby, good schools and an absolutely huge nature park with a beautiful creek and walking / cycling trails. The playgrounds could be updated a bit I suppose. Houses are established and sturdy, on huge plots of land.

"Close to the city with a country feel."

Only minutes to Belconnen shops and eateries Latham is a popular location for families looking for a leafy & quiet lifestyle that still has city benefits. Really well known for parks and walking tracks with both hill and district views ( Danny Street for example ). Schooling is near by as is public transport.

Loads of locals enjoy the established trees and homely feel of the neighborhood, its nice to see smiling faces when walking the dogs or bumping into regular at the Latham shops. Low crime rates and family friendly rec areas are also a point of attraction.
