For my money, the best pizza place in Laurel Heights is Freddie's which is a Brazilian style pizzeria--which not only means you get some interesting takes on pizza and a cool Brazilian menu but also a lot of fun.
If you prefer something a little more traditionally Italian, try Nizzario's Pizza which is actually in Inner Richmond, I think. Anyway, enjoy!
